4. 4 Lucky Ducks

At 4 Lucky Ducks, the lower covered patio area is equipped with a large hot tub, an outdoor shower, two-person swing, hammock, seating for 4, and a ping pong table. An additional uncovered patio area features a built-in charcoal grill. The deck offers a bench swing and additional seating for five.
This home is unique in that it has a fabulous flat grassy yard in a gorgeous setting day and night. The night sky offers a breathtaking view of the stars. Down by the lake, there is a canoe, three kayaks, a water slide that will take you directly into the lake, a ladder to climb in or out of the lake, and a very nice wooden bench seating for 6-7 people. 
Inside is super cozy with a beautiful stone fireplace, open floor plan, lots of board games–all of the ingredients to enjoy time with family and friends!

5. Thistle Ridge

Magazine-worthy Thistle Ridge, a stunning mountain lake home on Lake Adger showcasing some of the area’s finest outlooks and perfect sunset views from 2 large lake-facing covered porches. From the hot tub you’ll fully enjoy the lake and mountain scenery.
Active types, you’ll be in your element! This home offers, for your use, two kayaks and a flat-bottom boat near the water–there’s a deep water boat dock, too! It takes a bit of energy getting back up to the house as it's 124 steps but great exercise and lots of pretty views to enjoy as you stop and catch your breath along the way.  We've heard the fishing is pretty great at Lake Adger!
Inside is impeccable and gorgeous, open, spacious, beautifully appointed, and parents of littles need not haul it all! Thistle Ridge has a Pack N Play, bassinet, safety gate at stairs, high chair, booster seat, and portable play yard. 

6. Creekside Cottage

Privacy abounds around this small but new, modern, lovely home in Riverbend at Lake Lure. 
This home is just a short walk to the lakes in Riverbend, Mirror Lake, Little Mirror Lake, and the trails along the Broad River.  There is a nice sandy beach–with a play area for kids–on Mirror Lake for your summer enjoyment: swim in Mirror Lake, have a meal at the covered picnic site complete with picnic tables, rocking chairs, stone fireplaces to BBQ lunch, restrooms, and spectacular views. Hike, bike, or jog one of the many trails, or sit and relax by the waterfall and river. The fishing is excellent, and there is a bait shop just across the road near the main entrance.
Back at Creekside Cottage the hot tub awaits your good-kind-of-tired limbs! Sit back, warm your muscles into relaxation, and gaze contentedly at the trees. 

7. Appalachian Sunrise

Entertainment knows no bounds here at Appalachian Sunrise in River Bend at Lake Lure. 
This beautiful three bedroom three and a half bath log home features family fun opportunities aplenty with its lower-level family and the game room comes with a pool table, 70″ flat-screen TV with DirecTV, beer/wine refrigerator, and patio area. There also is a lower level bedroom with 2 twin beds and a full bath.
Outside enjoy the hot tub, gas firepit with rocking chairs, gas grill,  and large deck with more rocking chairs.  
And that’s all before (or after) leaving the house!
There are kayaks to use on Riverbend’s lovely lakes, hiking trails, picnic areas with grills, and all within a beautiful forest setting where you’ll be charmed by wildlife and renewed by peace and quiet.

The lovely, artfully designed two-bedroom, two-bath living space at Hawks Terrace is expanded via a large, beautiful enclosed porch. A spacious open deck yields mountain views in winter, a cool treehouse vibe in spring, and a bird's eye view of autumn leaves in fall.
The roomy porch features loads of charm, ample seating, and a child safety gate. The expansive open deck is terrific for appreciating the great outdoors during the milder months, which is most of the year!
With a fireplace, foosball table, internet-based television in each room, DVD players, and a hot tub, entertainment and ambience are well-supplied here at Hawks Terrace. There's even an exercise bike for fitness devotees!
