Per the website www.townoflakelure.com:Lake Use in 2025- Town Council and Town leadership are keenly aware of the importance of reopening the Lake as soon as it is safe to do so. Given the timing of the work that has been completed thus far and the need for ongoing work moving forward, it is extremely unlikely that the Lake will be able to open for the 2025 summer season. (This includes motorized and non-motorized vessels and swimming.) For those of you who have been following our storm recovery process closely, this news may not be a surprise to you. I thought it was important to share this news with you directly. Please note that Town Council and Town leadership will continue to evaluate options for opening the Lake or portions of the Lake and we will continue to keep you informed with any updates as new information becomes available.

Tucked away in a peaceful forest setting, this charming home offers the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. Start your stay on the expansive wraparound deck, designed with cozy outdoor seating all around—ideal for relaxing with family, enjoying a morning coffee, or dining al fresco. The semi-steep driveway provides convenient parking for four to six vehicles.

As you step inside, you’ll be welcomed by an open-concept kitchen and living area. To your right is the entrance to the fully finished basement, while straight ahead leads you into the heart of the home. The kitchen comes fully stocked with stainless steel appliances, including two ovens—perfect for preparing meals with ease. The spacious living room features a large sectional sofa, a big-screen TV, and access to the back deck, where a gas grill awaits for evening barbecues.

A wraparound staircase leads to the loft, where you’ll find two twin beds and a pool table, making it a fun and comfortable spot to hang out.

On the main level, the primary bedroom offers a serene retreat with a king-size bed, a TV, and private access to the back deck. The en suite bathroom is spa-like, featuring a Jacuzzi tub, a large walk-in shower, and dual vanities for added convenience.

The lower level is fully furnished and expands the home’s living space. To the left, there’s a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and around the corner, a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The hallway leads to three additional bedrooms. The first is a cozy room with a queen-size bed and a TV. Further along, the second primary suite includes a king-size bed, a twin bed, a TV, and its en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and dual sinks. The third bedroom on this level offers a queen-size bed, a twin bed, and a TV, making it a versatile space for families or groups.

Step outside to the screened-in porch and enjoy a soak in the large hot tub, surrounded by plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. For a quiet escape, take a short walk down to the gentle stream, where you can savor a meal at the picnic table while listening to the calming sound of flowing water.

As evening sets in, gather around the fire pit to roast marshmallows, share stories, and enjoy the magic of the forest under the stars. Golden Creek Cabin provides a true sense of seclusion, all while offering a full range of resort-style amenities.

Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
