The property is wonderful! Clean, spacious, plenty of bathrooms, on a small lake. The resort access is key as lake lure beach area is closed after Labor Day. Having resort access enabled us to be able to swim at lake lure. A few things need to be changed: the twin mattresses on all the twin beds were too thin or the springs could be felt when laying on them. Second, the pillows on all the beds are very thin. And add a scrub brush to the kitchen. A bristled or wire brush.

From our first inquiry on the property to an email at checkout, the property management company was almost immediately responsive. Good experience.
Our family of 11 (3 generations) all enjoyed our stay at this property. We were able to enjoy the same Rumbling Bald amenities we have had in previous stays at other properties. It was slightly further, but we enjoyed the remote location and Mirror Lake. The availability of kayaks was a big plus. (A dock would be nice...) We saw bear, deer, wild turkeys and rabbits (all a plus for us). The entertainment room was great and our family especially enjoyed the ping pong. There were games going on all week as well as board games and outdoor activities. We did NOT miss readily available WIFI. The property has a great floor plan, allowing everyone their own space, and is well furnished. Thank you for a great stay! We enjoyed the property so much we would recommend it to others.

They were very helpful and courteous, even let the seniors in early when they arrived ahead of schedule. The property was nice and the staff interaction was very good.
The property was lovely and had plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The little traveler loved the loft with the tent! The issue we had was the layout seemed a bit deceptive from the pictures. The basement was difficult for the seniors in our group to manage (and a few of the middle aged ones as well) because the stairs were so steep. The game room is also pretty dated and the air hockey table is on its last legs. The house is beautiful, but the mattresses are too hard in every room and the stairs going to the lower level of the house are very steep. We had four generations and the seniors found it challenging to go down to play with the little one. It could also use a bit of soundproofing. With only two TV's, if the adults wanted to watch television, it was heard in the loft and the main floor master. The kitchen could use some basic tools like measuring spoons.

Everyone was very helpful and professional. The directions for access to the cabin were detailed and easy to follow.
From a horseshoe pit to dart board, pool table, air hockey, and a place to fish, there is plenty to keep everyone occupied. And if you want to just relax and chat, 5 recliners fit the bill. We wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights. 5 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths made a perfect gathering place for our large group. Everything about the cabin was clean and nicely appointed.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Great prices, friendly customer service.
Everything was perfect except for 2 things. The fire pit isnt actually an amenity the tenant is allowed to use and the master bed was so horribly hard we couldnt sleep on it. We had to sleep on the couches in the living room. Beautiful place, great location.

I only dealt with 1 lady who was responsive and very helpful. First time relationship. Service was great.
Our only criticism is about the kitchen. Serversl simple additions would have made the property perfect. 1. Flatware that is useable and not so fragile as to require a printed warning about use and washing. 2. Instructions for coffee maker would have been nice. We did figure it out but it took a little time. 3. A basic stock of paper towels would also be helpful. We had a couple of extra rolls of toilet paper but only a partial roll of paper towels. There were also only a couple of worn and stained kitchen hand towels or dish rags. For a house that sleeps ten and that was cooking a good bit we could certainly used more of all three. 4. We really appreciated the use of the washing machine and the provided soap and dishwashing detergent. 5 The provided trash bags were so thin that we ended up double or even triple bagging our trash. All in all there was much to celebrate.: space. lots of sleeping places, guest passes to the resort, use of the kayak, canoe, horseshoes, air hockey were all a plus for our family of 10. Great property.
