Team responses were prompt and courteous. Excellent communication, especially the text reminders.
We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return! We loved our comfortable house that overlooked the lake. It was clean, comfortable, close to everything, and featured well-maintained facilities like the boating area.

We had a great time at Lake Lure. The Ridgetop Landing property was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay there. I wish we could have stayed longer. The house was beautiful. Everything was nice and clean. We loved the mountain theme mugs. (Bears and raccoons)

We absolutely love our stay and all it amenities including the lake access. But what made it top notch was the customer service we received from Valerie. Hands down the best of the best. So kind and super helpful. Even when there was an unexpected block power outage, she still picked up the phone at 4 am.
We loved the house and all the extra things that came with it. Super spacious, plenty of pots and utensils in the kitchen. We absolutely loved that it was so close to everything at Lake Lure. The lake access was amazing and so much fun to have.

Easy to deal with and helpful with our questions regarding the TV
We always enjoy our visits at Lake Lure. This was our first time renting this particular house. We probably would go back to renting something closer to the lake next time. Nice mountain views though and very quiet.

I just had a few question about the arrival procedure and the person at the management division was very reactive.
When we first got there, the property blew our minds out and the fact that its on a private gated property is a huge plus. The house itself is very convenient and we were amazed how clean it was. I could definitely see myself live here all year round! Thanks again for the perfect stay, keep the good work! We will come back in 2020!

Valerie and Carolina Properties are amazing to work with. They explain the properties I rent very accurately. They let me know up front my property may be a long drive to Asheville, even without me asking. Their response time is immediate.
Ridgetop Landing is a wonderful home. It is new, clean, spacious and it has a great view. It is also very close to Lake Lure.

We were volunteers for the WEG and had to 'ride' out Hurricane Florence during our stay. I cannot say enough about the responsiveness and friendliness of the staff who addressed every question we had. They are great representatives of the company! Unbelievable service.
Cozy, clean, inviting and beautiful. We worked long hours at the WEG and it was the perfect retreat at the end of the day. It was perfect for our needs. Hurricane Florence put a damper on exploring Lake Lure but we did enjoy spending time at the Flowering Bridge before the weather turned.

They responded right away when I needed a question answered :)
We loved the Lake Life living home in Lake Lure! It was a beautiful brand new property with pretty furnishings.and fully stocked with anything we needed for our stay. The only thing it does need are candles or a flashlight as the whole mountain lost power for most of the night. We enjoyed the home and loved the area! We loved the location even though we wanted to be on the Lake ....we knew ahead of time this one was in walking distance to the lake. Neighbors were very friendly. Just no yard for the kids.

Conveniently Located

Ridgetop Landing
is about 10 minutes from the Lake Lure beach and Chimney Rock State Park and village. Lake Lure was ranked by National Geographic Magazine as one of the top scenic lakes in the world. There are water sport rental options (kayaks, wake boards, boats, etc.) and pontoon tours of the lake.

The iconic Chimney Rock, for which the village and State Park are named, was featured on Arthur Frommer's Sept/Oct 2012 issue of Budget Travel magazine. The park received the platinum award for Favorite State Park in Blue Ridge Country’s 2013 Best of the Mountains travel poll, with voting every five years and covering seven southern states in the Appalachian Mountains. There are also several excellent golf courses nearby, including Apple Valley Golf Course, Bald Mountain Golf Course, and Etowah Valley Country Club and Golf Resort, which Golf Digest rated as one of the top 50 golf destinations in the US.

This lovely home is centrally located just 15 minutes from Bat Cave; 35 minutes from Hendersonville; 50 minutes from Asheville; and about 2 hours from Charlotte, North Carolina. Also nearby are Pisgah National Forest (less an 1 hour from Lake Lure), which has over 500,000 acres of protected forest, and DuPont State Recreational Forest (1.25 hours from Lake Lure) with over 10,000 acres. These forests feature hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, and horse trails, exquisite waterfalls, and beautiful mountaintop views. If you and/or your children are fans of The Hunger Games book and movie, a scene with Katniss and Gale was shot at the Pisgah National Forest. A few small but significant scenes were also filmed at the DuPont State Recreational Forest.

The Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area is conveniently situated for: museums and theater; the Biltmore Estate and Village; outdoor adventure including horseback riding, tubing, water sports, and hiking; shopping and restaurants; and so much more.
