Breathtaking Splendor
There is a saying that automatically brings this home to mind: Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away. The splendor of this bountiful landscape is boundless and breathtaking!
Guests have called the views therapeutic. This is a retreat you will not want to leave. When you do, it is one you and your family (four-legged family members welcome) will long to return to again and again, no matter the season. This mountain home is 33 miles from Linville Caverns, 52 miles from Grandfather Mountain State Park and the Mile High Swinging Bridge, 19.3 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 20.6 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 27.7 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC).
A Therapeutic Recharge
Whether it is to get away for a long weekend (there is a 3-night minimum stay) or relaxing vacation , just step inside Mountain Moments and you will feel your stress melt away. The wall of windows, stone fireplace, and hardwood walls and floors of the great room give an instant feeling of warmth and comfort. Just imagine enjoying a gorgeous sunset while relaxing in front of a blazing fire. Dine indoors or in the mountain air on stone patio (gas grill) with a fire pit to keep you warm. This is also a perfect spot for your morning coffee or tea; just have a seat on the stone wall.
With All the Comforts of Home
With three spacious bedrooms, a loft sleeping area, and two (2) full baths, there is ample room for seven (7) guests. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee maker, and a variety of small appliances. In the hall is a stacked washer/dryer. For entertainment, the home offers a TV with DirecTV Classic Silver package and 200 channels; VCR/DVD and selection of movies; a stereo with an iPod connection; and internet service (no streaming, gaming or downloads).
