Just minutes from the beach & town of Lake Lure, Chimney Rock & Bat Cave. Less than 45 minutes outside of downtown Asheville. You are approx. 30 minutes to Asheville Regional Airport and 30 minutes to downtown Hendersonville. Plan day trips to Asheville, Black Mtn, and Hendersonville for boutique shopping and antiquing. You are also app. 30 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and easy access to just about everything in the area.

(That is, of course, if you can tear yourself away from the views and sounds of the river, sitting by the fire-pit & soaking in the spectacle of the Blue Ridge Mountains, & actually venture inside!) Dogs are WELCOME as well! Kids love getting out in and around the expansive property and local walking trails & exploring the other rolling outdoor areas, lakes, and so much more.

The expansive deck areas afford relaxing and comfortable areas to unwind. Everyone enjoys the outdoor trails & more; you can pull up a chair and take in the view (the river and forest views are spectacular!!), observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fireflies come out to play in your backyard. Take a seat and enjoy the sound of nature and the serenity in your own private paradise along the banks of the Broad River. There is also a grassy, flat area for the kids to run around & play! Riverbend at Lake Lure offers lots of acreage for nature walks, exploring, and other exercise on the mountain without leaving the property. You are just minutes from America's favorite scenic byway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, motorcycle touring, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, Segway tour…just about any outdoor activity! Or, take a quick ride to downtown Asheville to enjoy the first-rate restaurants, shopping, galleries, spas, and entertainment. Quiet Policy: Please note that the cabin is located in a very private, quiet, and friendly locale. Parties, loud noise, and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain river retreat area affords. Official quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Area Wide Notice: Lake Lure will undergo a drawdown from January 1st, 2024, through the first quarter of 2024(March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet have been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. For more information, click here. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season.   This will not affect the smaller lakes in the area, only Lake Lure itself.

A 4-wheel drive or front-wheel drive vehicle is recommended for this home. 

PETS: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. We allow up to two dogs for no additional charge.

Smoking is prohibited in all of our vacation rental homes.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time or anytime after.

Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel a confirmed reservation at least 30 days before arrival, there is a $0 cancellation fee.  If you cancel within 30 days, there is no refund. Please note that we always recommend purchasing travel insurance/trip interruption insurance to help protect your investment should something unexpected come up.  Travel insurance is typically 7% of your total trip cost, and coverage details are available on the checkout page.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
