Didn't have much contact with the team but the little contact we did have was excellent!
The property was lovely and so clean and well-maintained! The view was fabulous and it was really quiet and peaceful at night! One of the adirondack chairs by the fire pit is broken but that was OK because we didn't need to use that one. I also want to apologize for leaving the sodas in the refrigerator and the boxes of muffins on the rail near where you park your car. I took the muffin boxes out of the car to make room for the sodas and then got distracted helping my mom into the car and drove off without either one. I feel especially bad about the muffins because I left them outside and that is not what you want to do in an area with a lot of wildlife. Sorry about that! One other note, there was a super friendly kitten that showed up on our second day. She is not feral so I'm assuming she was either dumped or she is owned by someone else in the area. She tried to get into the house a few times but most of the time she just hung out on the deck. Some guests may be put off by a stray hanging around and I guess there is always a risk she could contract some kind of illness. She's really nice so maybe someone could take her to the local SPCA or rescue organization.

I didn't have a chance to meet any of them in person due to the time schedule of the stay. I met the gal who cleaned the place and she was very nice, hospitable, and non-intrusive as we made our way out the door. Thank you all for the support throughout our stay.
The Mountain Moments cabin was incredible! This was an opportunity to reunite with a group of Paratroopers who all served together! 20 years had passed and this was the perfect setting for all of us to reconnect, tell stories, share memories, and rekindle the true brotherhood that exists among soldiers! We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the hospitality and amenities! Terry, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY! Without brave people like you we wouldn't be here today.

Valerie was very responsive when we reported the power outage issue. When it was discovered the outage was at the house and not due to weather, she didn't hesitate to offer us a credit. My preference was to stay an extra day and she made that happen without issue. I was completely satisfied.
My family has stayed at many rental properties over the years. It was unanimous that Mountain Moments was everyone's favorite. The house is perfect in every way.

Everything was wonderful except the wifi was not working hardly at all, the upstairs shower head had no water pressure, and the place we had to take our trash to was several miles away from the cabin. Loved the views and the feeling of being right at home from the time we arrived!!!

Thanks for a great trip. We definitely hope to return!
Our four-day, three-night stay at "Mountain Moments" truly was "heaven." The view from the deck was amazing! The kitchen was well-stocked. We were able to cook all of our meals. The decor was lovely. Kudos to the cleaning staff--the cabin was spotless! We had more than enough room for three couples and two children. This house is GREAT for children. Our grandchildren LOVED the big closet in the master bedroom suite upstairs. They called it their "playhouse." It was filled with stuffed animals, little wooden table and chairs, a tea set, Winnie-the-Pooh high chair, stroller, and carrier for all the babies, a castle, and all sorts of little toys. . .just a perfect little spot! Our daughters and their husbands were able to enjoy some sightseeing/hiking in the area. They loved Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, and also found some beautiful waterfalls. The patio is awesome. . .we would like to come back when it is cooler so we can use the firepit. The gas grill was great for cooking evening meals.
